Debut of the San Francisco Bay Map
Attendees of the San Francisco History Expo, March 2-3, at the Old Mint, will be among the first to see the new hand-drawn, hand-lettered fine art map entitled, “San Francisco Bay”.
This creative map, designed by Xplorer Maps of Missoula, MT, takes you on a journey through time with stunning illustrated graphics and rich historical excerpts of the iconic architecture, renowned culture, historic neighborhoods and unique marine life of the region.
In keeping with their mission to connect art, community and conservation, Xplorer Maps approached the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society to forge a partnership. “It seemed that SFMHS was the ideal fit for our mission and would most benefit from what we're trying to accomplish,” says Xplorer Maps co-founder Greg Robitaille. “We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to feel a small part of your amazing community by the Bay!”
